Corporate Citizenship
Building Stronger Communities Together
Partnering for Impact
Businesses play a powerful role in shaping healthy communities.
The Flora May Foundation partners with companies that believe strong families, a capable workforce, and accessible support systems are essential to a thriving society. Through thoughtful corporate partnerships, we are able to expand our reach and provide life changing resources to parents and underemployed women throughout Southern California.
Founded in 2017, The Flora May Foundation was created to support families facing some of the most difficult parenting challenges. Many parents come to us feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to help their child struggling with mental health challenges, neurodivergence, substance use, truancy, self harm, or other frightening situations. Our organization provides free and confidential consultations, guidance, therapy by trusted professionals so families can find a path forward.
Our second pillar of assistance focuses on economic stability. Through the Working Women Winning workforce development program, underemployed women receive the technical training, confidence, and career support needed to reenter the workforce. The program provides instruction in technology skills, professional development, financial literacy, and career readiness. Many graduates go on to secure meaningful employment that improves stability for themselves and their families.
Why Corporate Partnerships Matter
Corporate citizenship allows businesses to invest directly in the wellbeing of their communities. By partnering with The Flora May Foundation, companies help expand access to mental health resources for families and create career opportunities for women seeking a fresh start. Together we can strengthen families, support economic mobility, and create lasting community impact.
