A few words about

What We Do

Our Passion is helping families In Crisis

The Flora May Foundation is an 501(c)3 Non-Profit Foundation.

Our Mission.

Because most of us have been in similar shoes. We know how it is to feel helpless with our children’s struggles and not knowing who to turn to…

Helping Parents & Children

We hope to keep your family unit together, optimistic and being armed with specific resources that apply to your situation. Any life-threatening crisis involving your child is who we serve.

Critically Ill Newborns

Many parents have more than one child at home. If your newborn is severely ill, you’re facing new life challenges. Not only for your baby but for everyone else in the family. At CHOC/Children’s Hospital of Orange County, entire families can stay in the NICU with the sick newborn.  We’re grateful CHOC has a NICU for parents and siblings of terminally ill newborns & their families love The Flora May Foundation supports CHOC at every opportunity.

Teen Drug, Alcohol Abuse & Depression

Parents may be embarrassed & not choose to discuss the issue with anyone else. If you’re experiencing a parenting challenge, we hope you’ll take advantage of our support & resources. Many families are concerned with how their loved ones will recover emotionally, mentally or, physically. Treatment costs for inpatient care may exhaust your family’s finances. This is where The Flora May Foundation can help.

Runaway Teens

There is NO time to waste if you have a runaway child. Please contact the police immediately, but make us your 2nd call. Let the Flora May Foundation help you today, in what any parent would consider a crisis.
